Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
